A book destined for people who know perfumes and for who would like to learn to appreciate a good perfume. With the odors, the most varied odors. With uncoiling of the history inside of the specialized artisans' world, the perfumists of Paris in XVIII century. Since the initial moment, we are loaded along the pages for the most primitive of our senses, the smell. People used their perfumes to describe their such importance, but the history grows for the search of the pure essence, that that make you be noticed and included in this world as a person that the presence can be felt through the smell. But after getting to find this essence and to get to be a noticed person, the character lived by Jean-Baptiste Grenouille, didn't control and he begins to seek the ideal perfume, that is, the supreme form of beauty. With uncoiling of the history, being so involving and beautiful that we forget that is portrayed a history of a serial killer, and we ended up twisting for the sucessof his search, i the search for the divine form of the essence. The book is been worth by the detailed history of Paris in distant times, the work and the mixtures used for the negeration of a new perfume. The idea that the smell is present, not for the format and fragrance, but for the correct form of as it should be observed and admired.
