Red dragon
(Thomas Harris)

Publicidade
A serial killer popularly nicknamed the Tooth fairy stalks and murders seemingly random families during sequential full moons. Hooping to catch the killer before his next attack, special agent Jack Crawford seeks out his protegé, Will graham, a brilliant profiler who was the agent who actually captured Hannibal Lecter, but retired after he almost killed him.
The tooth fairy is actually a disturbed man named Francis Dolarhyde. Calling himself the great Red Dragon, because of the obcession with teh William Blake painting "The Red Dragon and the woman clothed in sun, Dolarhyde is unable to control his violent sexual urges. These conditions were born from the systematic child abuse he suffered at the hands of his grandmother.
Dolarhyde starts a connection with Hannibal Lecter, and this web goes on.
In the end of the book Dolarhyde chases Will graham and his family and almost killed them all, but instead of it he dies.
This book is really dark in the Classic Lecter Character. A great serial killer book.
