THE THREE TRAGIC TRAPS
In our secular life, we are facing many ups and downs, and facing them with moral courage and physical courage. It is very important to have moral courage to face when we have to go thourgh the bad patch of our regular life. In our day to day life, we earn and we spend money. We never think of sacreds and sins.
Of course, to lead the life, basically we need shelter, food and dress.
These are the only basic requirements. To get these things we do earn. By birth, some of us are rich and others not. But if we have the mind to share the wealth with the others, there would be no rich and poor. But we do not think on that point. We are interested in saving only for our family genarations. Once we start to have the freedom in the mind, spending for others would not be a problem.
In those days, all the needs were provided by the Emperors and kings for their citizens. So they were happy. Even to-day, the Governements provides these basic needs. But then, it is not sufficient for these people. We should not depend upon others. We have to work and we have to earn and we have to protect others.
As long as we spend our money to every one, there would be no struggles. But when we start to have the feeling to earn and save alone, the desire takes us to a unwanted situation, where we become selfish persons. Money is the first trap, which do not allow us go further in our life. The purpose of our lives are different. Once we become wealthy, we have to start to spend it with others without any hesitations. Then we are saved from the trap of money. Or otherwise,we would be certainly traped by the money. We should be aware of the persons who were traped by money.
The second one is the trap of the place or land. In the history, there were many emperors and kings ruling the world. They had their own area for them to govern.
But many of them were not satisfied with the area they had and they wanted to enlarge their borders. For this purpose, they were fighting with each other and in the process lost many lives. Once you are not satisfied with which you have, the problem starts. these are the examples shown in the past, regarding the land. In the begining, it would be very interesting to have a very big and beautiful home for us to live. That is enough for us. When we stop here, we are saved. But if we do not follow this, it would become very difficult for us to come out of this trap. We would be going on purchasing buildings, lands, gardens, estaes and so on. When we have many places, we must start to share them with other people. We can run charities and give shelter to others. By doing this, we are saved.
The final trap is sex. This is the worst and very big trap. We have to be very careful about this. Of course, sex is a part of our life, and it should be kept as a part of life. It should not be our complete life. We have heard thousands of stories about this that had happened everywhere in the world. This is deeper than the quick sand. The other two traps would affect the persons who are directly involved. But this particular trap is meant for everyone who do have connection with the person, who has been traped. It spoils the whole society and world. Once we are not traped by these three tragic traps, we would attain the stage of realisation of God with pride.
