Murder On The Orient Express
(Agatha Christie)

Publicidade
One of Hercule Poirot''s many detective stories, Murder on the Orient Express is a book that catches and holds the reader''s attention from beginning to end. The orient express, a train that travels through Europe, is halted from proceeding on its noirmal course due to heavy snowfall. That very night, a paseenger is murdered in his compartmmet. The train chief, the doctor on board, and Hercule poirot, also travelling by the same train, team up to find out teh identity of the murdere who seems to have vanished into thin air, (or snow).

Preliminary investigations reveal astouning facts that seem confusing. To top it all, the murder weapon suddenly surfaces in one of the pasenger''s belongings, and the dress, which the murderer was supposed to have been wearing, is found, apparently hidden  in plain sight. After much deliberation, and interviewing all the passengers, Hercule Poirot comes up with two possible solutions as to how the murder was committed, and how the murderer would have escaped. The climax of the story leaves a reader spellbound, and marvel at the ability of Agatha Christie to weave such an intricate plot . A highly recommended book for anyone interetsed in mystery /detective stories.
