Write your abstract here.

To read this book is to live another life. I lived with Sam all the way to her death bed. When she took abuse from herfirst husband, I felt the pain. When she loved her lover, I felt the love, the one thing missing in so many marriages. You cannot read this book and not feel the emotions that are so delicately expressed by the author. There is a private place in the mind where no one is allowed to go. This was the case with Sam even though she acutally lived her secret.
A journal is a life. It holds days, weeks, months and even years that some day might be a book like that of Sam's Letters to Jennifer. Sam's letters were her journal meant to be read by only one person and that person was of course Jennifer. Is this a real story? Could be, it replicates human behavoir; not that everyone's life is a story of secret love, only that it representshumanities failure to live every day in love, kindness, andjoy like it should be.
