What is an entrepreneurial theory? Since the beginnings of 1950 one attended a perfusion of the techniques of management: downsizing, subcontracting, total quality, the analysis of the economic value, the benchmarking, the engineering? Each technique is conceived for a determined function, but the whole of the techniques converges towards the paramount objective which is to take up the challenge: what to make not only how to make.
If large firms know periods of faintness from time to time, that is due to the lack of an entrepreneurial theory tracing the policy of their medium-term rehabilitation. The information system which became almost a myth at IBM, and found destabilized suddenly when two young engineers had invented the individual PC and did not take again any more its place of excluded visited on the market in spite of its reconversion towards the personal PC.
The adaptation continues with reality is a fundamental rule of the entrepreneurial theory. It constitutes with other rules a coherent whole of requirements to be respected by any organization which wants to remain in front of wild competition that the globalization. The entrepreneurial theory generates is more than one culture, it is a real discipline which makes it possible to hang the preventive measures and to adopt a policy known as of abandonment which means that every three years company must systematically re-examine the whole of its activities, of its production and systems distribution what must be actualized .It must be also interested in what occurs outside the company it and in saying the macro economic one which describes the environment of the company.
It is this entrepreneurial discipline which directs the persons in charge towards early diagnoses, by having the sense of smell of the first alarms of crises. An informed chairman could for example appreciate well a fast growth of the flow of his products and know if this rise is artificial or not.
An informed chairman should not have a brilliant intelligence inevitably but it must be conscientious and persevering and good observer to thwart the first faintnesses of the company .Comme in medicine, one should not let the disease generate as a practitioner a decisive and effective surgical dissection
