Charlie And The Chocolate Factory
(Roald Dahl)

Publicidade
This is the story of a little boy called Charlie Bucket. Charlie is a poor boy, his family is poor and lives in a shack of a house with his mum and dad and his four grandparents, who all sleep in the same bed in the middle of the room (which was more or less the whole house). They hadn't left the bed in many years.
Charlie had dreams about the Wonka chocolate factory nearby. His granfather tells him how he used to work there, and how, even though they still make chocolate, no-one evers goes in and no-one ever comes out.
One day there is an annoucement, Wonka Chocolate Factory is allowing five individuals to visit the factory. There are five golden tickets hidden within the billions of chocolate bars in around the world.
The world goes chocolate crazy and it is not long before the first ticket is found by the greedy, fat Augustus Gloop. Charlie would love to win one of the golden tickets, but he only gets 1 bar of chocolate a year, on his birthday, and tomorrow was his birthday.
He got his chocolate but after much anticipation there was no golden ticket inside. Soon all the tickets are found and Charlie is very miserable, but then he hears the one of the tickets is a fake and the search continues for the final ticket.
Charlie then finds some money on the street, he uses it to buy a bar of chocolate and there it was, the shiny golden ticket, staring back up at him.
So Charlie along with the other four children, Augustus Gloop, Veruca Salt, Violet Beauregarde and Mike Teavee, make their way to the factory to meet the famous Willy Wonka. Each of them is allowed to take one member of their family, charlie choses Grampa Joe who leaves the bed for the first time in a very long time.
Willy Wonka turns out to be a vedry strange man and the mystery of the workers is soon cleared up when they spot the umpa loompa's around the factory.
One by one the children's tour ends, Augustus gets sucked up by a pipe in the choclate river. Violet is turned into a blueberry after eating some gum. Verucca falls down the garbage shoot in the nut shelling room after demanding a squirrel and Mike is digitally teleported into a TV and is shrunk to the size of a small bar of chocolate. Charlie also strays from the tour when he and grampa joe test out the FIZZY LIFTING DRINKS, but soon catch up with the rest hoping that no-one has noticed. Although Willy Wonka refuses to give Charlie the lifetime supply of choclate he was promised as a prize for finding the ticket and lasting until the end. He returns the everlasting gobstopper that Willy Wonka had given all the children. (Their eyes lit up when they were given these because Slugworth, a comepititor of Wonka had asked them all to get hold of one for him to copy). BY returning the gobstopper Willy Wonka leapt up and declared that Charlie had won. Slugworth worked for Wonka to test the children of their loyalty. They got into a Great Glass Elevator and Wonka told him that he had in fact won the entire factory and that he was to take over from Willy Wonka when he got too old.
