Well, the dirty old nut still cracks with (juvenile) with and rigour, though at ninety something, standing on the precipice of passing over to the other side, he is as he is always was -overrated. His writing is encased in the blanest language, the only solace being the odd explicit expose, which have the tendency to avalanche into a cause celebre. Okay,enough french, The reasonwhy I don't like this chap is that he is the only guy I know about that AH Wheeler stocks at small railway stations amidst steedy sleaze novels and classic hindi renditions like khooni dulhan. The writings on his grandmother and Mother Teresa, however, stand out. The book should be a miss, unless of course you are one of those Hugh-Hefner-Khushwant Singh worshipper types.
