Why we've been running all around
And there's been violence and aggression

To direct us through this desert land

We'd probably be aware of every grain
Within the timing sand
Life's a theatrical dream,
Based on a comical theme
A total illusion, a mass of confusion
The more we seek, the more we lose
Within the running sands and this divided truth
What can we hope to find within a learned mind
What is the cornerstone of every man's incline
What does this mean to you
What in this world is true?
Tell me who is jesus christ
Has he got meaning in your life
Or is he just a puppeteer whose face
Keeps turning up each coming year
Now isn't he a texan who holds
Shoot-outs from a mansion
And is promising eternal life
To everyone who's there?
Is there more on your reflection
Are you finding new direction
If you hold it to the light do you
Believe that it will disappear?
Well the answer is quite simple,
I am purely a disciple
Of the coming of the future and the
Certainty that nothing's…. clear
