As a prisoner, locked within those moaning walls?
How could thou mock me in thy solar gleams?
As a hunted, not the hunter, within those cold-dark halls?
Thy dawn of flames approaches,
Carrying my broken wings
Thy sigh of anguish absorbes me,
Like a wingless bird that sings
Oh such a gruesome song
A song of fallen majesty
Of dreams burnt down for oh so long
Of one’s shattered hopes…
Yet one more dawn takes it’s place
Yet one more soul has been mislead
Yet one more night turns into some misty haze
