Now that there's nothing left to say, please just look at me. Is life going to be the same as you always said it would be some foreseen day? The years went quickly, the hours revealed a truth. Beyond words and lies, it lived through tears and pain...
We still share it. I know we always will. I'm much too scared to watch it fall, and let it slowly disappear. So can I ask you to stay just for a little while?
We'll live at least this one more night.
Because I know everything seems so dark, though the sun still shines in the sky. We'll get through this, I swear on it. I promise everything in time. And then I see that smile on your face: it makes me think of that other place where you sing and play, pass the night away in shadows.
I don't know, but I have a funny feeling, what they said all along and the writings on the wall framed way for a profound being. Because through each other, and what lies deep in ourseleves holds the key to overcome any obstacle.
