Suns trembles and earth is howling in pain.
No mercy will be spread by this war.
The angel of death has beckoned to me while smiling,
All my sins will be inherited by my blood.
Those secret corridors in my heart are coming down,
and I only hear the roar of the crumbling stones.
Dazed by blood and larceny, the human spirit has coarsened,
So many young bodies, mutilated when dying
– bloody, muddy, trodden.
Insect swarms have already climbed
in their deaden open mouths.
Artillery roar is piercing your hearing
and the ground is shivering so hard,
A pure dread is coming from
every crack in the ground,
Ruthless, everlasting slaughter!
My heart is made of lead
and this lead is running through my veins.
