It brings me sadness just remembering getting home
From a tiring day of work, she would hold me very tight
And kiss me tenderly
We sat while, and she'd tell me all the news:
How she took the kids to school and she found them at the zoo
Thorowing peanuts to the bears...

When the days ran calm and fine
And I had her by my side,

We decided we should part, for it was late ro restart
