The Secret of Successful businessman
Once there lived two friends named James and Johnson. They were working in an automobile retail shop together. One day they went to a shop to buy some household articles. They came across a lottery shop and that time Johnson asked James to buy a lottery ticket. Each of them paid half of the ticket price. Then they returned. After a few days, lottery result came. To their surprise they found that they had won ten thousand dollars. After sharing the total prize, both of them left each other to start their own business. There was no much communication between them as their business locations were situated in different places.
After few years, James came to meet Johnson to his place. John was quite surprised that to see James because James seemed in a good position wearing gold ornaments and came by a costly car price of which no one could imagine. John felt extremely happy to meet his dearest friend after long years. James told that he wanted some of materials which were kept for sale in Johnson?s shop. John accepted to give them and the bill was settled at once by James. After wards with some hesitation, Johnsson asked about the secret of the success of his friend. James told that he would tell the secret provided that his friend should not take it negatively. John also accepted that he won?t take it in wrong way.
He told ?When we both started business I kept a person to look after the shop. Then I tried myself and canvassed to collect orders from many companies to sell my products. Whereas after opening the shop, you thought that every item will be sold automatically as and when people comes to shop? I think that your over confidence only has given this negative result? In spite of our money, influence and other aspects, continuous physical effort is also needed to achieve greater results. This is my humble opinion, he added.
John realized his mistake and thanked for his best friend?s true advice. Then he followed he same and reached higher level in his business.
